About the Site
Look around. Printed words are everywhere. In books, magazines and newspapers. On menus. On food labels. On T-shirts. On baseball cards. On CD liner notes. On billboards. On electronic highway signs. On the side of buses. On birthday cakes. On Final Jeopardy responses. Even tattooed on human bodies. Now take a closer look. Often — too often — there is something wrong with those words. Perhaps they're misspelled. Maybe they're missing an apostrophe. It could be that they're the wrong words altogether. That's where this site comes in. If I find a worthy misspelling, punctuation mistake, grammar gaffe or fact error in print, I'll share it. I doubt I'll find anything as memorable as "Dewey Defeats Truman," but I'll try.
